The Project
Logline: Based on a true story and best selling novel, the Cameron family is embroiled in a supernatural mystery when they move into an abandoned Pennsylvania mansion after World War II. Harold Cameron, an ex-seminary student, must uncover the dark secrets of the past to save his marriage and set the mansion's tortured spirits free.
Synopsis: Harold Cameron, anxious to settle into a new life with his wife and three sons in post-WWII Philadelphia, leases a huge, historic mansion with unbelievably low rent. After weeks of searching, it seems ideal.
Chilling events occur once the Camerons move in. Invisible footsteps walk the night, locked doors are opened and closed by an unseen force, and the mournful sobs of a young girl echo from the third floor. Harold, an ex-seminary student whose own daughter and first wife died many years ago, has a hard time dealing with the paranormal reality of their situation.
As tension escalates and unexplained activity intensifies, it's clear the Camerons are not alone. Harold experiences twisted visions of his troubled past as a message from a soul in need… but there is more than one spirit trapped in his new home, and not all of them are friendly. Possessed by the remorse, confusion, and anger of these entities, Harold's marriage and his family's safety are threatened.
What evil stalks the mansion? And why?
Only Enoch, an ancient, black, former stable boy, holds the key to unlocking the disturbing, yet captivating mystery which spans nearly a century. Harold must draw on his own renewed faith and the link he shares with a young girl's ghost, overcoming the guilt from his first wife and daughter's death to set the mansion's tortured souls free.
